People v. LW (LAX Court) - Client charged with DUI. Breath test .08. Charges reduced to traffic infraction and case dismissed with traffic school.
People v. S. G. (Riverside) - Appellate Division unanimously reverses client’s misdemeanor trespass conviction due to error in jury instructions.
People v. J.V. (Santa Ana) - Appellate Division unanimously reverses client's trespass conviction, ruling that 1) trial court committed multiple errors relating to jury instructions; and 2) even if jury had been correctly instructed, no reasonable jury could have found client guilty. CASE DISMISSED.
People v. S.D. (Santa Ana) - Appellate Division reverses client's jail sentence and five misdemeanor convictions relating to impersonating a police officer and resisting arrest. Appellate Division rules that trial court violated client's constitutional rights to due process and trial by jury.
People v. J.Z. (Santa Ana) - Court of Appeal reverses client's 4-year sentence and conviction for felony residential burglary involving $30,000 worth of jewelry due to faulty jury instructions.
People v. D.M. – (Santa Ana) - Superior Court dismisses multi-count rape indictment based on District Attorney’s withholding evidence from the Grand Jury.
People v. E.R. (Santa Ana) - Client charged with posessing heroin for sale after police searched her house pursuant to a search warrant. Motion to Dislcose Confidential Informant granted
